Practical Scrappers Layout Sketch

It's time for one of my favorite installments in the Practical Scrapper line-up...sketch day! Christine worked up a super fun sketch for us, go check it out on the blog, and I'm here with my interpretation.

I love that I was able to take these summery, water bathing themed papers from Authentique's Fresh and turn them into a layout about my boys gearing up for playing in the snow. Such a versatile collection! All it really needed was those snow flakes to take it to the wintry theme that I wanted!

And check out my new "enamel dots" a friend told me about a pin she'd followed where she made dots from pony beads. Pretty cool. Couldn't find the same pin again, but this one is similar.

  1. We're tracking those pony beads enamel dots! My daughter has a ton of beads... just haven't got to the melting part. They work so well here to tie in your color scheme. Love the paper, love the layout and lover your creativity which makes unusual picks that turn out so pretty!
