Sledding

Do you ever use current weather to decide what photos to scrap? For this layout using this month's Practical Scrappers sketch that's exactly what I did! We'd had another cold snap, with snow in the forecast for overnight, and it inspired me to pull out these pics from after a recent snowfall, the first time we took the boys sledding.

I pulled out Authentique papers for this one, papers from Peaceful and some scraps from the Winter Petite Collection. With just a little tearing and fussy cutting this page came together in a snap. There's one thing that just wouldn't photograph well though, I ran some tape runner along the light blue and then applied white flocking. It added a nice frosty shimmer, but alas, you'll have to take my word for it.
