Focus

Just a fun little layout for the ScrapbookSteals MWM Iolite 8. While the page somewhat resembles Melodee's sketch what her layout really inspired was me to pull out some of my Simple Stories goodies and u-s-e them. They've been sitting, neglected, for far to long.

The background paper is Tim Holtz Coordinations Crackle Distress Cardstock. There's a couple pieces of scraps and then a piece of water color paper that I had used while playing with my Faber-Castell Gelatoes.

Those tabs are from AC Chap and the white/red arrows are from Pink Paislee's Artisan collection. The scalloped chipboard border is from MME All is Bright.

And these are a couple close-ups of the water color paper. Those gears are from an old Basic Grey line's journaling pieces, I can't even tell you which one, but the temporary adhesive had become permanent so trimming and tucking was necessary to use them. They're pretty close to perfect accents on this one, even if I do say so myself.

This is probably one of my favorite layouts that I've done recently, and that's saying something because there was a point in the process that I nearly put it all away and started over from scratch.

  1. I really like it to. Probably because of all the bright color and the well done design. Great job!
